While not all veterinary clinics in our region are able to offer after-hours services, we’re here to help. Whether you’re a long-standing client, new to Ballarat or your usual clinic doesn’t provide emergency care, our on-call team is available every night until midnight to guide you through urgent situations.

This service is provided for registered clients of Eureka and Ballarat Veterinary Practices. However, if your regular vet clinic no longer offers after-hours support, and you're unsure what to do in an emergency, please don’t hesitate to contact us — we’ll do our best to assist.

Our after-hours service rotates across the following locations:
When you call, you’ll be advised which clinic is on duty that night, so you know exactly where to go.
Your pet will be assessed by a veterinarian and nurse. Cases are triaged based on urgency, so wait times may vary.
We’ll aim to give you a clear estimate of costs before treatment begins. Please understand that emergency care can involve additional procedures depending on your pet’s condition.
In some cases, we may recommend referral to a specialist or 24-hour hospital for ongoing monitoring or advanced care.
We ask all visitors to treat our staff with respect. We do not tolerate aggressive or abusive behaviour.
