Interests and hobbies
Family: My wife and I have two beautiful school-aged children, along with one lazy but ultra-cuddly cavoodle (Bingley) - we plan to adopt a second dog in the near future! My wife and I are also both from large families and enjoy spending time with them. Our family enjoys annual camping trips, most often to Apollo Bay, one of our favourite places!
Sport/outdoor: I like to play social soccer (both indoor and outdoor). I also like to ride and run; while it's been a while since I did a marathon, now more relaxed park runs and various community runs help keep me active!
Travel: After enjoying European working holidays (in Dublin) during uni, it was while doing four months of volunteer work in a Bolivian animal refuge predominantly looking after poorly socialised monkeys that reignited my passion to pursue my career as a veterinarian!
What brought me to Ballarat?
I love working as a vet, enjoying the client interaction and ability to help both animals and their owners alike. After enjoying the rural lifestyle that Bendigo had to offer, during our time in Melbourne we yearned for a tree change, which has come into fruition having purchased a acerage on the outskirts of Ballarat!
