Credentials: Graduated in 2015 from Massey University in NZ with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science
Previous experience: After graduating I went straight into a rotating internship at the small animal hospital at Massey. After that, I worked as an emergency vet at a referral hospital in Auckland for a year. Then moved to Canada where I worked a mixture of GP and emergency for the next 18 months until I went to the UK for some time and did a variety of locum GP jobs while travelling around Europe. When COVID hit, I moved back to NZ and worked as an emergency vet in a referral hospital again, until I was able to travel back to Canada to be with Massimo, where I worked in an emergency hospital until starting a new chapter in Ballarat.
Interests and hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy cooking, being active and reading. I have a passion for travelling and am always planning what/where our next trip will be. I’m a self-confessed cat lady and previously have fostered cats for the humane society which I found incredibly rewarding. However, I have had a long-term desire to adopt a greyhound, which I hope to be able to do in the next year or so.
